Bears Shoot Down Bruins; Rematch Today – 4/3

Good morning from wintry Providence!

I truly hope all is well back in central PA.  I read so many things on social media last night from local EMS crews about power outages, transformer issues, etc.  Trust me, it was no picnic here this morning either.  2″ of snow and tropical storm-force winds to walk into on our way to the arena.

Now the sun is out.  The snow is gone.  The roads are dry.  And it’s almost time to play some hockey, a big rematch with the Providence Bruins at 3:05.

The goal is plain and simple: earn one point and punch a playoff ticket.  I can tell you that nobody will be satisfied with one point, though.  Hershey’s next goal is the division title, and it will be much more reachable with a regulation win and a Portland win at Wilkes-Barre/Scranton.

Here is the audio of the exciting third period, overtime and shootout from last night.

Game notes are set here.

Dan Ellis will face Jeremy Smith in the goaltending matchup.

GO BEARS!
