PRE-GAME: Bears at Phantoms

Hello, Bears Nation! Intern Matt Trust with you here, high above rink side at the PPL Center, home of the Lehigh Valley Phantoms. The Hershey Bears are slated for a 7:05 puck drop against the Phantoms, as they look for revenge after a 5-4 shootout defeat at the hands of Lehigh Valley last Sunday.

The big story out of Hershey this morning is the return of Stanislav Glaiev, who is in the lineup tonight. This will be Galiev’s start to a two week conditioning stint from Washington in the Chocolate and White.

Thrilled to have Galiev back with the club, even if it’s for a short period of time. I’m intrigued to see how he meshes with one of the youngest Bears teams we have seen in years. I’ll be watching to see of Troy Mann even throws him on the power play unit. Galiev with Chris Bourque on the ice could produce a lot of smiles tonight if you’re on Hershey’s side.

The goaltending rotation continues into tonight, and it will be Dan Ellis looking for his third win of the season in his sixth game.

Be sure to catch the period recaps throughout the night right here on the blog, and tune into the Hershey Bears Radio Network. Scott Stuccio has the call!
